I can't even tell you how excited for orange I am. What do you think of these orange kittens? I think they're adorable, and super fun to do.
I've loved seeing other bloggers do adorable little animals on their nails, so thanks so everyone who has done those.
Did you notice that? Both hands! Woo, hello right hand, so exciting. And my right hand has a very happy cat on my ring finger and the ball of twine for it to play with. Haha
Here are the polishes I used, there were a lot of stripers here so I figure a picture would be better. There is my orange, Sally Hansen Sun Kissed.
Thanks for taking a look, see you tomorrow for yellow day!

#31DC2013 Day 1 - Red Nails
Soo.. I took the summer off from blogging and it has been bothering me more and more. I figure I need to give myself a serious push and hit the ground running to make up for my summer of laziness, and I can't think of a better way than my first ever attempt at the 31 day challenge! 0-31 in a row is the way to go, wish me luck world, and I hope you like my contributions!
So day 1 is red, but red alone on me is always really overwhelming, so I went with a nice fiery gradient to keep that red feeling but lighten up the colour closer to my skin.
I'm very happy with how this turned out, I keep turning my hand and watching it catch the light, and with all the glitter packed into it does it ever catch a lot of it.
So there we have it, this is me hitting the ground running. See you tomorrow with orange!

Teal and gold gradient
I'm not feeling too chatty today, but I really enjoy this manicure, so there are lots of photos to make up for it. There is just something wonderful about teal and gold together. Combining that with a nice gradient and I'm hooked.
I ended up just using the polish brush to make this gradient, my gold polish works really well for this. My accent nail is just a reversal of the gradient but I feel like it adds a bit more interest to a simple gradient.

What are your favourite colours to make a gradient with?
